As a researcher, founder of IMPULSEe³, and – starting April 2025 – professor at DHBW Karlsruhe, I combine research and practice not as a balancing act, but as a synergy.
I speak about what I’ve experienced, shaped, and developed further – where the new meets the established: in leadership, innovation, and digital transformation.
Conducting research at the intersection of science and practice – in constant dialogue with companies. For me, real knowledge emerges through exchange: when theory is tested in application, and practice inspires new scientific insights. Key areas include innovation management, organizational ambidexterity, digitalization and artificial intelligence, strategic management (especially the microfoundations of strategy), as well as organizational behavior and change.
Sharing experience, opening up perspectives – My path has been shaped by duality: corporate and startup, strategy and execution, theory and practice. Starting in April 2025, I will serve as a professor at DHBW Karlsruhe, where I pass on this combination – supporting my students and mentees in connecting knowledge with real-world experience and finding their own way.
The Transfer Center IMPULSEe³ was founded on the belief that ambidexterity & AI shouldn’t just be discussed—they need to be strategically applied.
In collaboration with companies and a team of experts, we develop practical solutions that boost efficiency, drive innovation, and empower people.
I don’t just talk about transformation – I drive it, collaborating with companies, universities, and teams. With a deep understanding of research, I turn the latest insights into practical recommendations. The tech landscape is something I know well, while also experiencing the gap between hype and reality in projects, meetings, and change processes. I’ve seen both the hesitation before embracing something new and the power when it finally clicks.
