I am a scientist and entrepreneur – and I treat both as one. Since April 2025, I have been a professor at DHBW Karlsruhe and am the founder of the AmbiLeaders Academy, with a focus on innovation and change management, artificial intelligence, and digitalisation.
Everything I teach is rooted in what I have lived: founding an innovation hub, leading digital transformation as CIO, building business models, running a software startup. This real-world foundation – combined with the IMPULSEe³ approach – shapes my teaching, my academy, and my work as a speaker.

I speak about what I’ve experienced, shaped, and developed further – where the new meets the established: in leadership, innovation, and digital transformation.

Sharing experience, opening up perspectives – My path has been shaped by duality: corporate and startup, strategy and execution, theory and practice. Starting in April 2025, I will serve as a professor at DHBW Karlsruhe, where I pass on this combination – supporting my students and mentees in connecting knowledge with real-world experience and finding their own way.

I don’t just talk about transformation – I drive it, collaborating with companies, universities, and teams. With a deep understanding of research, I turn the latest insights into practical recommendations. The tech landscape is something I know well, while also experiencing the gap between hype and reality in projects, meetings, and change processes. I’ve seen both the hesitation before embracing something new and the power when it finally clicks.
